1. Who we are
Pingbyt ("we", "our", "us") is a communication platform for property managers and tenants. Our registered address is available on request. Questions about this policy: privacy@pingbyt.app.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: name and email address you provide when signing up.
- Property data: building names, addresses and unit numbers you enter.
- Messages & announcements: content you post or send through the platform.
- Maintenance requests: titles, descriptions and status updates.
- Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never card numbers.
- Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and debugging.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the Pingbyt service.
- To send transactional emails (maintenance updates, announcements) on behalf of your building manager.
- To process your subscription via Stripe.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising.
4. Third-party services

5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@pingbyt.app. We will fulfil requests within 30 days.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, port and delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact us at privacy@pingbyt.app.
7. Cookies
We use only functional cookies required for authentication (a short-lived JWT stored in localStorage). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
