Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating a Pingbyt account you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. "Pingbyt" refers to the platform operated by Pingbyt ("we", "us").

2. The service

Pingbyt provides communication tools for property managers and their tenants, including announcements, maintenance request tracking and direct messaging. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
  • You must provide accurate information when signing up.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pingbyt to:

  • Send spam, harassment or unlawful content.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our infrastructure.
  • Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

5. Subscription & billing

  • The Free plan is free forever within the stated limits.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months, except where required by law.
  • We may change prices with 30 days' written notice.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you post (announcements, messages, etc.). By posting it you grant us a limited licence to store and deliver it to the intended recipients. We do not read or sell your content.

7. Limitation of liability

Pingbyt is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We may terminate your account for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
